Due to the rapid sell-out of our first Ithumba retreat, we quickly launched a second retreat, which also sold out within a week.

This retreat provided the most incredible elephant experience we've ever had, with orphaned elephants, ex-orphaned elephants, and wild elephants all converging at the Ithumba Elephant Reintegration Unit in Tsavo East National Park. As the end of the dry season approached, the wild elephants recognised this reintegration unit near the camp we were staying at as a safe haven with food and water.
